Name: Robb Irrgang
Role: Senior Software Engineer

Where is your home office?

The Chicago suburbs (“The suburbs, where they cut down all the trees and then name streets after them!” —Alfred E. Neuman)

What were you up to before ThreeFlow?

Before ThreeFlow, I worked in pretty much every industry—small business, non-profit, agency, consultancy, my own startup. I've also worn a ton of hats along the way, working on engineering-adjacent things like graphic design, UX, etcetera.

Why did you make the move?

I had previously worked with the engineering leads and it's so nice to have a strong, experienced engineering team that reinforces that everyone has your back and is willing to help. Trust in your team is a big contributor to being able to do the best work you can.

How would you explain what you do to a third grader?

I build things that help our users (all of them—our internal teams and our end-users) do their jobs better and faster.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I love working with our engineering and UX teams because we all leave our ego at the door and focus on the best product, and the best user experience.

What do you like to do for fun?

I watch a ton of sci-fi/fantasy shows and movies, play and make tabletop role playing games, and collect a ton of different things—graphic design books, graphic novels, if it's nerdy, I tend to dig it.
